Through screenprinting technique I have achieved the letters deterioration, an image made by types from different typographies, a metaphor for what happens in the movie. Feito como projecto pessoal, este cartaz tipográfico visa passar para o papel a dureza emocional presente no filme Turtles Can Fly. Vídeo Promocional Efect Souvenir foi uma exposição no Museu do Design de Barcelona, patente entre 16 de Julho e 13 de Dezembro de 2009, cujo tema principal foram as memórias de viagem e os souvenirs recolhidos por essa altura. Cinema and the way of tell stories as 21 Grams and Memento. Breaking the rules and who breaks the rules. My major influences are The International Typographic Style. Avant-garde movements and Alexander Rodchenko, El Lissitzky and Kazimir Malevich. Penguin book covers. The photographer Man Ray. Alfred Hitchcock and Alejandro Iñarritu. Banksy and free speach. I've some reference designers Bruce Mau and his Incomplete Manifesto, Jan Tschichold, Pablo Martín & Gráfica, Lizá Ramalho (R2 Design) and Experimental Jetset. Special taste in do lists, dots at the end of the sentences, read publications from the back to the front and movies where the main character dies in the end. Biography Rui Filipe Soares Moreira (Portugal, May 7, 1986), lives and works in Oporto. In 2008 he graduated Graphic Design and Advertising at ESEIG from Instituto Politécnico do Porto. During his graduation he was taught by Lizá Ramalho (R2 Design studio) master of Typography by UAB, Marta Fernandez master in Multimedia Design by FBAUP, Ana Pereira professional photographer with several exhibitions, among others. Through a period of study at UCLAN from England in 2008, it was possible for him to work with influential designers such as Jonathan Harker and Jane Souyave. In 2009 he received a scholarship to work in Barcelona with Pablo Martin (member of AGI) in his studio, Gráfica, often selected for D&AD awards. During that period it was possible to him to work with clients such as Metalarte, Mundo Deportivo, Universidade de Vigo, Museu DHUB, Consejo Regulador del Cava, Ibermodul, Turisme de Barcelona, among others. It’s a large format book, with a hardcover coated in fabric and screenprinted, which make each catalog unique. To represent the 500 years of book history in Portugal, I used the numeral 500 as main element, defined by the Clarendon typography and Avenir typography, representing the book pass and his contemporaneity, respectively. Capa de livro Por altura da exposição da história do livro em Portugal, realizou-se este catálogo contemporâneo, contendo informação relativamente ao design de capas de livros em Portugal. Trata-se de um livro de grande formato, com capa dura, revestida a tecido e serigrafada, tornando cada catálogo único. The colours reflect the metaphorical critic to URSS by the author, using a reference to the farm world as background. Capa de livro Seguindo o modelo de edição de livros da Penguin, foi concebida a capa para o livro Animal Farm ( O Triunfo dos Porcos ) de George Orwell. Esta segue a lógica dos sete mandamentos representados no livro e que estão presentes em todo a história. This institution selects every year the best Cava to promote the region and the sparkling, distributing them at events around the world. The studio Grafica was asked to design the labels of these special editions. The four qualities of sparkling wines (Brut, Brut Nature, Gran Reserva and Rose) led to the creation of four distinct labels, which culminated in the use of the four "Cava" word letters. With the frequency of use of the created labels, it was necessary to unify that image resulting in the development of a logo representative of sparkling Cava, work I have done with the art director Pablo Martín. Due to the varied applications of the logo, there were designed four logos that change depending on the size that it should be applied, with the letters "CAVA" with different thicknesses and different spacing between the bottles. O Consejo Regulador del Cava é a autoridade responsável por garantir a qualidade dos espumantes de origem Catalã. Este organismo selecciona todos os anos os melhores Cava para promoção da região e dos espumantes, distribuindo-os em eventos por todo o mundo.   Foi pedido ao estúdio Gráfica que concebesse os rótulos dessas edições especiais. As quatro qualidades dos espumantes (Brut, Brut Nature, Rose e Gran Reserva) proporcionaram a realização de quatro rótulos distintos, que culminou na utilização das quatro letras da palavra “Cava”.   Com a frequência de utilização dos rótulos criados, foi necessário unificar essa imagem resultando na elaboração de um logotipo representativo dos espumantes Cava, trabalho que desenvolvi juntamente com o director de arte Pablo Martín.
